One of the best things about becoming a professional artist is the amount of time I get to spend in my very favourite room: my conservatory studio.
As you can see, it's filled with light, crystals, plants, a huge and increasingly valuable collection of art materials, and often an assortment of dogs, cats, and chickens pottering around me too.
The garden views inspire me through the seasons, and I also take colour inspiration from my crystal collection.
One of our favourite things to do as a family is collect ‘treasures’ on our walks, so these little fragments of nature live in the studio with me too.
I absolutely love the paint marks on my desk, documenting all the creative moments I’ve shared with my daughter there too. Our kitchen table looks much the same, too… in fact, my art business has pretty much taken over every room of the house in some way!
